The event had been shortened from 24 hours to 22 hours because a driver managed to ruin the day…
Basically, a car went across the bike lane, and a cyclist hit it… And it actually happened twice in a few hours, so the event had been shortened before someone dies… I have been told that the riders are doing OK, but things were looking terrible and very bloody for the second crash… This event is taking place on a bike lane, but they somehow still manage to mess thing up…
