The event had been shortened from 24 hours to 22 hours because a driver managed to ruin the day…
Basically, a driver went across the bike lane with his car, and a cyclist hit it…
And it actually happened a few hours before that with somebody else, so the event had been shortened before someone dies…
I have been told that the riders are doing OK, but things were looking terrible and very bloody for the second crash…
This event is entirely taking place on a bike lane, but they somehow still manage to mess thing up…
