Thursday evening at Mass Works.Krussia is a name I’ve been hearing about since I’m into fixed gear, but I didn’t really know how he was connected to this world. So I just asked him.
Here is what he told me:
Originally as a musician and artist, I’ve been riding, working and street racing on a track bike for over 15 years, ending up organizing Alleycats in Russia (Moscow, St Petersburg) Paris (Chat Elysees in collaboration with B2P), Barcelona (Barca Crit in collaboration with Amelia Iaia), as well founded the Bedford Burning (brakeless only) race in 2020 with Terry B in NYC that expanded internationally to London Burning in 2024, Barcelona Burning in 2025 and Berlin Burning in 2026.
Organized Alleycats for Bicycle Film Festival (NYC), FFNY brand (NYC), Dirty Water (NYC) as well as introduced a new race addition to Monster Track, called Monster Crit in 2026 that was supported by the oldest and legendary Brooklyn strip club “Pumps”.
